Jammed on iWatch, crashed on iPhone

Trying to install the companion app on the iWatch somehow jammed the devices and ultimately caused me to lose all my tasks and history/streaks on my iPhone. No responses from technical support by email or on Twitter. Big fail. Very disappointed.
